Jason Segel, Lily Collins and Jesse Plemons to star in Netflix's Windfall

CE Features

Jason Segel, Lily Collins and Jesse Plemons have been roped to act in the Hitchcockian thriller Windfall. The Netflix film will be directed by Charlie McDowell.

Segel and Plemons acted in McDowell's last Netflix film, The Discovery, while Collins is slated to feature in the director's upcoming crime drama Gilded Rage.

Windfall is said to be a modern-day noir that revolves around a young couple who reach their vacation home only to find it's being robbed. The script is written by McDowell's frequent collaborator Justin Lader as well as Seven scribe Andrew Kevin Walker. McDowell and his three stars will produce Windfall alongside Alex Orlovsky, Duncan Montgomery and Jack Selby.

Segal was last seen in Dispatches from Elsewhere, and he has The Sky Is Everywhere, directed by Josephine Decker in the lineup. Lily Collins, on the other hand, last made her feature film appearance in David Fincher's Mank and she has Halo of Stars in the post-production stage.
