CE Features

Allu Arjun, who recovered from COVID-19 in May, is back on the sets of his upcoming film Pushpa. Today, the makers announced that the team is taking all the necessary precautions, including wearing masks and working with a limited crew.

"We have started shooting for a 30-day long schedule in Hyderabad while complying with the health and safety guidelines issued by the government. We are extremely pleased with the reception for 'Introduction to Pushpa Raj' and we are working with great spirits to surpass the expectations that have been set by the teaser. We will meet the audience in theatres soon through Pushpa," said producers Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers.

Set in the backdrop of Seshachalam forest, Pushpa tells the story of the red sander smugglers and their nexus to illegally transport the forest produce.

The film also features Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, with Fahadh Faasil and Sunil playing the antagonists. Earlier in May, the makers had announced that Pushpa will be released in two parts, with its first part scheduled to release in October and the second installment slated to release in summer 2022. Directed by Sukumar, the film will release simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
