KGF Chapter 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to the blockbuster 2018 Kannada film, is all set for release on July 16. The production house, Hombale Films, took to Twitter to share the news. 

The Yash-starrer was supposed to be released on October 23, 2020, but was delayed due to the pandemic. 

KGF Chapter 2 is one of the biggest releases of the year. Directed by Prashanth Neel, it has Yash playing the role of a gangster Rocky. The film traces his journey in his quest to rule the gold mines of Kolar, which results in a turf war with Adheera.

The second part features Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt in the antagonist role. KGF Chapter 2 also has Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, and Achyuth Kumar in important roles. 

The film, which has music by Ravi Basur, will be released in multiple languages, including Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu.
