Release date locked for Adivi Sesh's Major 

Inspired by the life of  Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the Telugu-Hindi bilingual will be released in cinemas on July 2

Adivi Sesh's Telugu-Hindi bilingual film, Major, is all set to hit the screens on July 2. Inspired by the life of Ashoka Chakra-awardee Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who lost his life in the 26/11 Mumbai attack, the film is being directed by Sashi Kiran

Sesh, who plays the titular role, took to Twitter to announce the release date of the biopic along with a new poster.

The film also has Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma in crucial roles. Produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with GMB Entertainments and A+S Movies, Major has completed a schedule each in the Indo-China border and Ramoji Film City.
