Allu Arjun has announced the release date of his upcoming film, Pushpa. Directed by Sukumar, the action entertainer is all set for a theatrical release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on August 13.

Revealing the release date, Allu Arjun tweeted, 

The shooting of Pushpa resumed in the lush forests of Maredumilli in November and the makers have filmed an action sequence featuring Allu Arjun and others under the supervision of fight masters Ram-Lakshman.

Set in the backdrop of red sandal smuggling in Seshachalam forests, the film's next schedule will commence in Hyderabad in February, followed by another schedule in Kerala.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa has Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. Music of the film is by Devi Sri Prasad.
