The National Film Development Corporation Limited (NFDC) has commenced shooting for their upcoming film, Korangi Nunchi, on January 20. 

Archana of Nireekshanam-fame is staging a comeback to films with Korangi Nunchi, which also marks the directorial debut of K Jayadev, son of acclaimed award-winning filmmaker late KNT Sastry.

Speaking about her return to Telugu cinema, Archana says, "It's always inspiring to work with newcomers, who have a unique way of storytelling. Reuniting with NFDC after Sammohanam (1994) has been a pleasure. Working in this film is like taking a trip down memory lane."

Elaborating on the film, Jayadev says, "Korangi Nunchi — Who will marry Thomas? is inspired by real incidents. It took me seven years to develop the script and complete the screenplay." 

The film boasts of a stellar cast including Archana, Banerjee, Nagineedu, Kowsalya and Vikranth.
