Actor and singer Demi Lovato is all set to star in a comedy series about friends with food issues.

Titled Hungry, the series will revolve around friends in a food issues group. Entertainment Weekly reports that the friends "help each other as they look for love, success and the perfect thing in the fridge that's going to make it all better."

Lovato will also serve as the executive producer of the series. Hot In Cleveland creator and Will & Grace writer Suzanne Martin will write the series and also executive produce it with Lovato.

Lovato, who has been vocal about recovering from an eating disorder, had earlier starred in the Camp Rock films and in Sonny With A Chance series. In 2020, Lovato had a recurring role on Will & Grace and appeared in the comedy film Eurovision.
