The makers of RRR (Roudram Ranam Rudhiram) confirmed today that the period actioner starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR will be released in theatres on October 13, this year.

"This October 13, witness Fire and Water come together as a force that has never been experienced before. The biggest collaboration in Indian cinema is set to deliver a memorable experience," tweeted the makers from the film's official Twitter handle.

Their announcement was welcomed by lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR, who are characterised by the elements fire and water in the film. Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR co-stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Samuthirakani.

RRR also marks the debut of Hollywood actors Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson in Telugu cinema.

Produced by DVV Danayya, the film is nearing completion and recently, Rajamouli began shooting the climax sequence, an intense action sequence featuring Ram Charan and NTR.

Besides Telugu, RRR will also be released in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and other foreign languages.
