The White Tiger, starring Adarsh Gourav, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Rajkummar Rao, recently premiered on Netflix. The film, which is adapted from the Booker prize-winning novel of the same name, is eligible for Academy Awards nominations in 14 different categories.

The contenders include — Mukul Deora (Best Picture), Adarsh (Best Actor in a Leading Role), Priyanka and Rajkummar (Best Actor and Actress in a Supporting Role), Tiya Tejpal (Best Production Design), Smriti Chauhan (Best Costume Design), Nakul Kamte (Best Sound), Divine and Karan Kanchan (Best Original Song). 

The White Tiger is directed by Iranian-American director Ramin Bahrani, who is known for directing the films Man Push Cart, Chop Shop, and Fahrenheit 451.
