Mission Frontline begins streaming on Discovery+

CE Features

Discovery+ recently launched an original, Mission Frontline, a series about the life of BSF jawans. The series features Rana Daggubati, who lives a day in the life of BSF jawans, and undergoes training like them.

Mission Frontline features Rana performing tasks just like a jawan, including physical training routines like learning to salute; running drills with weapons and a backpack; fireman’s lift; and hurdle jump.

The audience will see the training routines of the BSF. Experiencing just the beginning of a BSF jawan’s routine drills, Rana Daggubati said, “Being in the BSF is not that easy.”

Mission Frontline was filmed at the Murar Post, Jaisalmer, where the country shares a border with Pakistan and civilians are not allowed. The audience will experience what goes on at this restricted but crucial border, as Rana Daggubati takes part in the strategic activities performed to protect it, ranging from firing live rounds, to patrolling the border on camels, taking part in a simulated mission to track down and neutralise infiltrators and travelling on sand scooters among many other grueling tasks.

This documentary aims to inspire youngsters with the sheer might and discipline of the BSF.
