It is known that Vijay’s upcoming film, tentatively referred to as Thalapathy 65, will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Now, reports suggest that Ala Vaikunthapuramlo-fame actor Pooja Hegde might be roped in to play the female lead in the film. If it happens, this would be Pooja’s comeback film in Tamil after Jiiva-Myskkin’s Mugamoodi. 

Speculation also suggests that Arjun Vijay might play the villain in Thalapathy 65. Notably, the actor played the villain in Ajith-Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal.

Thalapathy 65 is also rumoured to feature Poovaiyar, who played a key role in Vijay’s last release Master.
