R Madhavan has joined Khushali Kumar and team for the shoot of their untitled next. Directed by Kookie Gulati, the film also stars Aparshakti Khurana and Darshan Kumaar. 

Madhavan and Khusali were initially set to star in Dahi Chinni, to be produced by T-Series. The project was later shelved and replaced by a new film with the same cast. 

Khushali is a former fashion designer turned actor. She is the younger sister of T-Series head Bhushan Kumar.

Madhavan’s last Bollywood release was Saala Khadoos (Irudhi Suttru) in 2016. The actor also had a special appearance in Zero (2018), besides headlining the first season of Breathe on Amazon Prime Video.
