Vijay Sethupathi, who is basking in the superb opening of Master, is all set to enter Bollywood with some interesting Hindi films. A few days ago, it was announced that he will be seen in Santosh Sivan's Mumbaikar (the Hindi remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj's debut film, Maangaraam) and there have also been reports of him starring in Sriram Raghavan's next, alongside Katrina Kaif.

Today, on Vijay Sethupathi's birthday, it has been revealed that he will be starring in a silent film titled Gandhi Talks, which will be directed by Kishor Pandurang Belekar. The film is planned to be released across India targeting six markets — Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Sharing the poster of the film, Vijay Sethupathi tweeted, "At times, silence is so loud. On the occasion of my birthday, I am announcing my new film. I am set for a new challenge and new beginning with a silent film Gandhi Talks. Need your love and blessings."

The last silent film was Karthik Subbaraj's Mercury (2018), which was also a pan-Indian release. Before that was the 1987 Kamal Haasan-starrer Pushpaka Vimana, which released in Hindi as Pushpak, in Tamil as Pesum Padam, Pushpaka Vimanamu in Telugu and Pushpakvimanam'in Malayalam.
