Ram Charan announced today that he has tested negative for Covid-19. The Rangasthalam actor has been under home quarantine for almost two weeks after he contracted the novel coronavirus on December 29.

"Happy to share that I have tested negative for Covid-19. Can't wait to be back to work very soon. Thank you again for all your good wishes," he tweeted.

Up next, Ram Charan will be seen in SS Rajamouli's RRR and Chiranjeevi-starrer Acharya. While the former showcases him as the younger version of legendary freedom fighter Alluri Sitaramaraju, the latter features him in a never-seen-before role.

"Charan will join the sets of Acharya for a month-long schedule next week. The team is planning to shoot crucial scenes and a song, featuring Chiru and Charan in a specially-constructed temple set, in this schedule. After this, he will resume RRR," says a source.
