It’s a wrap for Ameer’s Naarkaali

CE Features

We had earlier reported that director Ameer will be playing the male lead in a political film titled Naarkaali. The latest is that shooting for the film has been completed. Directed by VZ Dorai, who last helmed the Sundar C-starrer Iruttu, Naarkaali is expected to hit the screens in March.

Chandhini Sreedhar, known for her role in 555, is playing the female lead in Naarkaali. Apart from Ameer and Chandhini, the film also stars Anandaraj and Marimuthu in key roles.

Naarkaali will have music by Vidyasagar. The composer's last Tamil release was the 2018 film Aaruthra. It is notable that the album has a song sung by the late SP Balasubrahmanyam.

The film has cinematography by Krishnaswamy, editing by R Sudharshan, and lyrics by Pa Vijay. Ajayan Bala and Murali are credited for the dialogues.

Ameer was last seen in Vetri Maaran’s 2018 gangster drama, Vada Chennai.
