Gopichand Malineni to direct Balakrishna?

CE Features

Looks like stars are aligning for Gopichand Malineni. The young director has been flooded with exciting offers. Right after the release of his recent Krack, Gopichand Malineni has been reportedly offered a film, which is likely to star Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role.

Mythri Movie Makers, which earlier bankrolled blockbusters like Mirchi, Janatha Garage and Rangasthalam, is making attempts to bring the actor-director together for a commercial entertainer.

"Balakrishna has always believed in young talent and he has no qualms doing a film with a happening director, provided the script suits his image. The discussions are on," reveals a source close to the production house.

Balakrishna's last three releases — NTR: Kathanayakudu, NTR: Mahanayakudu, and Ruler — received only a lukewarm response at the box office.
