Ra Ra Krishnayya-fame Mahesh Babu P is now working on a script with an idea to cast Anushka Shetty in the lead. The director is currently working on the final touches of the female-centric film with 'a dash of action and drama'.

"Mahesh Babu has been working on the script for the last few months. He narrated the plotline to Anushka during the Covid-19 lockdown and she was extremely pleased with both the concept and her character, which is unlike anything she has attempted in the past," reveals a source, adding, "If everything goes as planned, the project will start rolling in a month or two." 

Anushka's last film Nishabdham, which was released on Amazon Prime last October, received negative feedback from the critics and the audience alike.
