Cinematographer KV Guhan returns to direction with WWW

Veteran cinematographer KV Guhan (Kushi, Mozhi), who turned director with Prakash Raj's 2010 production venture Inidhu Inidhu, is returning to direction with WWW (Who Where Why).

The film, whose shooting was completed recently, stars Adith, one of the leads of Inidhu Inidhu, along with Shivani Rajasekhar, daughter of yesteryear actor Rajasekhar.

"WWW is a thriller that is shot as a computer screen film. During the lockdown, we all communicated through screens but we seldom worry about our privacy and security. Our phones are being constantly monitored and we get ads for items that we're discussing with others," says Guhan, who shot the film in Chennai and Hyderabad as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

"Since his debut in my film a decade ago, Adith has made a name for himself in the Telugu industry as well as in Tamil films like Thangamagan. When I got done with this script, I met him randomly and he ended up being the perfect fit for the film. As for Shivani, I liked her innocence which aids her characterisation. She gave her nod instantly. She has done a good job and it will be hard to tell that it's her debut film," adds Guhan.

WWW also stars Sathish and Rajkumar along with YouTube sensation Viva Harsha, Satyam Rajesh, and Spyder and NOTA-fame Priyadarshi. With Simon K King and Thammiraju handling music and editing, the film is expected to be out next month.
