A third sequel in the Pizza franchise has been announced by Producer CV Kumar. Starring Ashwin Kakamanu, Pizza 3: The Mummy will be directed by debutant Mohan Govind and produced by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment. 

The announcement poster was launched by directors Karthik Subbaraj, Pa Ranjith and Ram Kumar, whose debut projects -- Pizza, Attakathi and Mundasupatti -- were produced by CV Kumar.

Apart from Ashwin, the film will also star Kaali Venkat, Raveena Daha, Pavithrah Marimuthu and Gaurav Narayanan. Pizza 3 will have music by Ashwin Hemanth and cinematography by Prabhu Raghav.

The first installment in the Pizza franchise was Karthik Subbaraj’s debut feature film, and proved to be a breakthrough for Vijay Sethupathi. Pizza 2: The Villa was directed by debutant Deepan Chakravarthy and starred Ashok Selvan in the lead.
