Ranveer Singh-starrer 83 to be out in theatres on June 4 

The film revisits India’s historic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup

Kabir Khan’s 83 will hit theatres on June 4, the makers have officially announced. The sports drama revisits India’s historic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup.

The film stars Ranveer Singh as former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev. 

Sharing a new poster, Ranveer announced that the film will be released on June 4 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

83 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Saqib Saleem, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Jatin Sarna and others. Deepika Padukone has a special appearance in the film as Kapil Dev’s wife.

Originally slated for release in 2020, 83 was pushed back due to the ongoing pandemic.
