Rashmika onboard Ram Charan-Shankar project?

CE Features

Rashmika Mandanna seems to have garnered the attention of director Shankar and she is now the front-runner to play the female lead in his next starring Ram Charan.

"Charan wants Rashmika to play the female lead role and has suggested her name to both Shankar and Dil Raju, the producer of the film," says a source.

Rashmika is apparently equally excited and feels that this film will give a boost to her career on a pan-Indian scale. "For Rashmika, it's a dream come true and despite her busy calendar, she is willing to allocate bulk dates should the need arise. Shankar is yet to speak to her, but they will likely meet for a discussion soon," the source adds.

Rumour also has it that Shankar is contemplating shooting this yet-to-be-titled political thriller in 3D format and is also planning to rope in Anirudh Ravichander as the music composer.
