Demon Slayer season 2 announced; to premiere later this year

The popular manga anime series Demon Slayer is getting a second season. Season one of the anime premiered in 2019 on Netflix. It introduced Tanjiro Kamado, a boy who goes on a revenge spree after a demon kills his family. The season will reportedly premiere at the end of the year.

With the English version of the blockbuster film Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train gearing up for release, the news about the second season of the anime is a welcome surprise.

The Twitter account of Demon Slayer announced the news about the second season. The tweet contains a poster that states that the storyline for the season will cover the 'Entertainment District Arc' - a memorable storyline from the manga.

Notably, with the growth in popularity, Demon Slayer is also receiving its first console video game this year.
