Rajiv Kapoor passes away at 58 

The actor-producer suffered a fatal heart attack today

Bollywood actor and producer Rajiv Kapoor passed away in Mumbai today. He was 58.

Rajiv was the younger brother of Randhir and Rishi Kapoor and son of Raj Kapoor. He had appeared in films like Ek Jaan Hain Hum (1983), Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985, Raj Kapoor’s last directorial), Lover Boy (1985), and others. He had later quit acting to direct and produce films.

The news of Rajiv Kapoor’s demise was posted by Neetu Kapoor on Instagram. The veteran actor-producer had suffered a heart attack and was rushed to a nearby hospital. He was declared dead on arrival by the doctor.

Last year, Rajiv’s elder brother Rishi Kapoor had passed away due to leukaemia.
