Narcissism accusations have been levied against Kangana Ranaut after she compared herself to Hollywood actors Meryl Streep and Gal Gadot.

Earlier today, Kangana tweeted a series of looks from her upcoming films and praised her own transformation. “The kind of range I display as a performer no other actress on this globe has that right now, I have raw talent like Meryl Streep for layered character depictions but I can also do skilled action and glamour like Gal Gadot,” Kangana wrote.

She also challenged anyone to show if there’s any other female actor who exhibits her ‘range and brilliance’.

Kangana’s tweets were widely trolled, with people charging her with arrogance and narcissism. When a user said it’s ‘blasphemy’ to name Kangana and Streep in one breath, the former shot back saying, “I honestly want to know why do we worship white people? Forget their budgets and our age gap, tell me about just acting. Can she do Thalaivi and Dhaakad? Queen and Tanu? Answer is she can’t then why not emerge from the deep-rooted complex?”

She also responded to a user asking her to define 'narcissistic personality disorder'.

“Please prove my claims wrong or illogical, will accept my statements as gloating disorder, if you can’t you too have to accept, in this world of mediocre hyenas who will do anything to look through genuine talent, modesty is not good not at the cost of HONESTY. Snatch your due.”
