The shoot of Bobby Deol’s Love Hostel was reportedly disrupted by farmers in Patiala.

Around 150-200 farmers gathered at the film’s location on Friday where the team was setting up equipment. They peacefully asked the team to leave, saying they would not allow the shoot since none of the actor’s family members had spoken in favour of the protests.

Bobby’s brother, Sunny Deol, is a BJP Lok Sabha MP from Gurdaspur. His father, Dharmendra, is a former BJP MP, while their step-mother Hema Malini is a current MP. As per reports, Bobby was not present on set on Friday.

Love Hostel is directed by Shanker Raman. The film also stars Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra.

Earlier, the shoot of Janhvi Kapoor’s Good Luck Jerry was also halted by farmers protesting the centre’s three farm laws.
