Harold and the Purple Crayon is a children's book by Crockett Johnson that was published in 1955. It follows a four-year-old kid with an extraordinary imagination who crafts a world through the magical powers of a purple crayon. The book's immense popularity led to multiple adaptations including animated shorts and television series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a live-action adaptation starring Levi is in the works. The adaptation comes from screenwriters David Guion and Michael Handelman (known for writing Dinner for Schmucks and Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb).
