Simbu on a signing spree

CE Features

Post his physical transformation, Silambarasan appears to be on a signing spree. The actor, who was recently seen in Eeswaran, already has films like Pathu Thala, Maanaadu, and a project with his frequent collaborator Gautham Menon. It's now known that he has signed another film with debutant director Gnanagiri, who had previously written the dialogues for Simbu's 2011 film Vaanam.

Sources close to the production say the executives of the Tamilnadu Movie Makers Sangam were planning on organising a star fest to generate finance to help the members of the association, when Simbu himself came forward to do this film instead. Produced by the association's vice-president Singaravelan, the proceedings of the film will go to the economically-weakened producers and their families.

This untitled project will go on floors soon and the makers are planning on releasing the film later this year.
