Kangana Ranaut, on Tuesday, responded to International pop star Rihanna extending her support to the ongoing farmers' protest in India. In a tweet, Kangana called Rihanna a 'fool', claiming that the protesting farmers were terrorists.

Earlier the same day, Rihanna reacted to a news article on CNN talking about the protest and wrote: "Why aren't we talking about this? #FarmersProtest." The tweet was widely shared on social media.

Reacting to Rihanna’s query, Kangana wrote:

When someone dug up an old tweet from Kangana’s account, which mentioned the popular Rihanna track Diamonds, Kangana shot back saying the account was not managed by her back then.

Actor Diljit Dosanjh also reacted to Rihanna’s tweet with a Punjabi proverb: “Jaat Di Kohr Kirli, Shateeriyan Nu Jaffe... (Your status in life is rather insignificant but you know how to talk big.)"

Diljit and Kangana were earlier engaged in a heated Twitter spat over the farmer protests.
