Taapsee Pannu has shared her first look from Looop Lapeta. Directed by debutant Aakash Bhatia, the film is a Hindi remake of Tom Twyker’s Run Lola Run (1998).

The original German film is about a woman who has twenty minutes to deliver a stash of money. We are presented with three possible outcomes of her desperate dash.

Taapsee’s character in Looop Lapeta is named Savi. She’s been paired opposite Tahir Raj Bhasin in the remake.

“Life mein kabhi kabhaar aisa time aata hai jab humein khud se yeh sawaal karna padta hai “How did I end up here?” main bhi yahi soch rahi thi. (Sometimes in life we have to ask ourselves, ‘How did I end up here?’ I was also thinking the same.) No, not the shit pot, but the shit life! Hi, this is Savi and welcome on board a crazy ride #LooopLapeta,” Taapsee wrote, sharing a still from the film.

Looop Lapeta is produced by Sony Pictures India, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Aayush Maheshwari. Taapsee has two other releases lined up for the year: Haseen Dillruba and Rashmi Rocket. She has also started training for Shabaash Mithu, a biopic of Indian cricketer Mithali Raj.
