Prabhas-Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush goes on floors

The 3-D epic will be filmed in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously

The shooting of director Om Raut's upcoming film, Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, began today.  

The filmmaker took to social media to share the news about his multilingual period saga. Prabhas too took to social media to share the update. 

Featuring an extensive range of visual effects, Adipurush, bankrolled by T-Series, is an on-screen adaptation of the Ramayana epic and features Prabhas as Lord Ram and Khan in the role of Lankesh. The 3-D epic will be filmed in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously. It will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and other languages.

Meanwhile, the motion capture of the film was underway from January 21. The film will have cinematography by Kharthik Palani.

Adipurush is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar of T- Series and Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. It is set for release on August 11, 2022.
