Fire breaks out on the sets of Prabhas-Saif Ali Khan’s Adipurush

The lead actors were not present when the fire took place

A fire broke out on the sets of Om Raut’s Adipurush in Mumbai on Tuesday, hours after the film officially went on floors. 

The fire broke out at a film studio in Goregaon West in the afternoon. A team of firefighters arrived at the spot to control the situation. According to reports, there were no injuries to the cast and crew, though a considerable part of the set was destroyed. Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan were not present when the fire took place. 

Adipurush is a big-budget adaptation of the Ramayana. The 3-D epic is being filmed in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously. It will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and other languages.

Prabhas had posted on Tuesday morning: “Adipurush aarambh. #SaifAliKhan @omraut #BhushanKumar @vfxwaala @rajeshnair29 @tseriesfilms @retrophiles1 @tseries.official #TSeries”.
