Ayushmann Khurrana, Anubhav Sinha have started filming for their second film together. Titled Anek, the big-budget film is being shot across the North East. Ayushmann and Anubhav had previously collaborated on Article 15 (2019). 

Sharing his first look from Anek, Ayushmann wrote, “Excited to be collaborating with Anubhav Sinha sir. Again. #ANEK. Here’s presenting my first look as Joshua produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar.” 

Anek is billed to be Anubhav Sinha’s most expensive film to date. The director is known for his streak of socially-relevant hits with Mulk, Article 15 and Thappad.

Ayushmann has finished filming for Abhishek Kapoor’s Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, co-starring Vaani Kapoor. The film was wrapped up in December last year.

The actor will also be seen in Doctor G. Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, the campus comedy will feature Ayushmann as Dr. Uday Gupta. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh.
