Sanjay Dutt has wrapped up his portions for Prithviraj. The period drama stars Akshay Kumar as the titular Chauhan dynasty ruler. The film also features Manushi Chhillar in the role of Sanyogita.

While Akshay and Manushi had completed their parts earlier, Sanjay recently finished his scenes in a five-day schedule. The actor plays a pivotal role in the 12th-century epic.

“With Sanjay Dutt, we had a very small portion of the shoot left to be completed. We wrapped the film with a five-day shooting schedule with Sanjay. Given coronavirus and his health, of course, all possible precautions were taken to make the set a safe shooting space for him,” director Chandraprakash Dwivedi told ANI.

Last year, Sanjay had announced his recovery from cancer. He had briefly taken a break and was treated at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.

Sanjay’s last release was Torbaaz (on Netflix). His upcoming films are KGF: Chapter 2, Bhuj: The Pride of India, and Shamshera.
