Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko has joined the Chennai schedule of Vijay's Beast directed by Nelson. Though the actor had previously appeared in Hari's Vengai, starring Dhanush, the Vijay starrer will mark his full-fledged Tamil debut. 

Shine had taken to Instagram to share a photo of him travelling in a flight to Chennai. The actor joins the third schedule of the film which is being currently filmed in ECR. Previously, the first schedule was shot in Georgia, followed by the second in Gokulam film city. 

Beast, produced by Sun Pictures, has Pooja Hegde playing the female lead and it also stars Yogi Babu, Kavin and Aparna Das in important roles. With music by Anirudh Ravichander, the cinematography is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa. 

Apart from Beast, Shine is awaiting the release of Kuruthi, and has films like Djinn, Kurup, Roy and Velleppam in various stages of production.
