Sun Pictures, the makers of Dhanush's forthcoming project, tentatively titled D44, have officially announced the primary cast of the film. The production house took to their social media handles to reveal that Nithya Menen, Raashii Khanna, and Priya Bhavani Shankar will be playing the female leads. Moreover, senior actors, Bharathiraja and Prakash Raj, will also be a part of this highly-anticipated project.

D44 is said to be directed by Mithran Jawahar, who has previously collaborated with Dhanush on Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty, and Uthamaputhiran. However, an official confirmation is awaited on this front. Similarly, D44 will be the fifth time Anirudh Ravichander will be composing music for a Dhanush-starrer after 3, Velai Illa Pattadhaari, Maari, and Thanga Magan. Further details related to the project are currently under wraps.

Meanwhile, Dhanush has multiple projects in his pipeline, including Karthick Naren-directorial Maaran, Selvaraghavan's Naane Varuven, the Netflix actioner, The Gray Man, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual with Sekhar Kammula, and the Hindi film, Atrangi Re.
