Atharvaa-Sarkunam film goes on floors

The untitled project will mark the Tamil debut of Kannada actor Ashika Ranganath

We had previously reported that Atharvaa and Sarkunam, who last worked in the 2015 film, Chandiveeran, are reuniting for a new project. The untitled film has now gone on floors. The entire cast and crew of the film are currently stationed at Thanjavur where the shooting is underway. The makers are planning on wrapping up the film in a single schedule of 50 days.

The film will mark the Tamil debut of Kannada actor Ashika Ranganath who has been roped in as the female lead. The rest of the film's cast includes Rajkiran, Radhika Sarathkumar, Jaya Prakash, RK Suresh, Singam Puli, Bala Saravanan and GM Kumar.

With music by Ghibran and cinematography by Ustad Hotel-fame Kokanathan, the film is bankrolled by Lyca Productions.

Meanwhile, Atharvaa will next be seen in Thunitha Pin, one of the nine episodes from the Netflix anthology Navarasa. He also has films like Kuruthi Aattam, Thalli Pogathey and Othaikku Othai in different stages of production.
