Akshay Kumar has wrapped up the Mumbai schedule of Raksha Bandhan. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film had gone on floors in June. Akshay is featured alongside Bhumi Pednekar in the film. Actors Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth play his sisters. 

Sharing pictures with Aanand and Bhumi from the sets, Akshay wrote, “I am already missing walking down these streets of Chandni Chowk. Even though it was a make-believe set you made it look so real, take a bow Sumit Basu. My wonderful co-star Bhumi Pednekar, thank you for providing the right balance with your splendid talent." He then went on to appreciate the director Aanand L Rai, "Sir what can I say about you, besides saying that you’re a wizard and today as we wrap up the Mumbai schedule of Raksha Bandhan, I know I’m leaving the set as a better actor." 

Raksha Bandhan is written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon. It’s the second consecutive collaboration between Akshay and Aanand L Rai. The duo has also wrapped up Atrangi Re, co-starring Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan.
 
Akshay’s Bell Bottom will hit the big screens on August 19. He also has Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj, Ram Setu, Atrangi Re and Bachchan Pandey on the cards.
