The first single from Ajith Kumar-starrer Valimai is out. 

Composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the song, titled Naanga Vera Maari, is a peppy number that exudes a celebratory vibe. Crooned by Anurag Kulkarni and Yuvan Shankar Raja, the song has been penned by Vignesh Shivan. Several colourful images featured in the lyrical video complement the song's festive energy.

The highly anticipated first look of Valimai was released last month to tremendous response after a long wait. The anticipation similarly reflects in the song's metrics, with the video accumulating over 300k likes within 15 minutes of its premiere.

The motion poster of Valimai confirmed that the film will hit screens this year, although the makers of the film are yet to officially announce a release date. Produced by Boney Kapoor in association with Zee Studios, the film also stars Huma Qureshi, Kartikeya Gummakonda, Pavel Navageethan, Yogi Babu, Achyuth Kumar, Pugazh, and GM Sundar.
