We had previously reported that actor Vijay Sethupathi will be a part of director duo Raj and DK's upcoming web series, also starring Shahid Kapoor and Raashii Khanna, currently in works at Amazon Prime Video. In an interview with Cinema Express ahead of the premiere of The Family Man's second season in May, the makers officially confirmed the casting of Vijay Sethupathi and added that the actor hadn't begun shooting for the series yet.

The latest news about the project is that Vijay Sethupathi has joined the sets of the series today. The development was announced by Raashii Khanna on Twitter. While sharing a selfie with the 96-actor, Rashii wrote, "Collaborating with my favourite human/actor for the third time, this time in Hindi! Welcome to our set, Vijay Sethupathi sir."

Vijay and Raashii have previously shared screen space in the 2019 film Sangathamizhan and the yet-to-be-released Tughlaq Durbar. Further details related to the new web series are currently under wraps.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi will be next seen in the Netflix anthology, Navarasa. He has several films in his pipeline, including Vikram, Laabam, Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, Maamanithan, Mugizh, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Viduthalai, Mumbaikar, an untitled Ponram directorial, and an untitled Hindi film co-starring Katrina Kaif, in various stages of production.
