KV Anand no more: Rajinikanth shares condolences

Rajinikanth expressed his grief over the demise of filmmaker KV Anand, who passed away early this morning in Chennai. Rajinikanth took to Twitter to share his sympathies with the late filmmaker's family.

"The demise of the respected KV Anand has pushed me into deep shock and distress. My deepest condolences to his family for leaving him. May his soul attain peace," wrote Rajinikanth.

KV Anand worked as the cinematographer for Rajinikanth's Sivaji, and appeared in a brief cameo alongside the actor in the song Ballelakka.

KV Anand, 54, is survived by his wife and daughter.
