KV Anand no more: Dhanush shares his condolences

Actor Dhanush expressed his grief over the demise of filmmaker KV Anand, who passed away earlier this morning due to a cardiac arrest. Dhanush, who worked with the filmmaker in Anegan, took to Twitter to share his condolences and wrote, "A gentle kind honest man has passed away. A very sweet man full of life, love, and joy."

He added "KV Anand sir.. gone too soon, sir. Too soon. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace, KV sir."

KV Anand's Anegan was released in 2015. It also starred Karthik and Amyra Dastur. 

Amyra Dastur too shared her condolences on Twitter and thanked the filmmaker for the opportunity.

"KV Anand sir, you were one of the most passionate and disciplined filmmakers I had the honour to work with. You launched me in Tamil cinema and for that, I will be forever grateful. Thank you for everything sir. Cinema will not be the same without you. Rest in Peace sir."

KV Anand is survived by his wife and daughter.
