The release of Satyameva Jayate 2 has been postponed due to rising COVID-19 cases. The film, starring John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar, was slated for release on May 13. However, the makers have decided to push the release to a later date.

“In these unprecedented times, nothing matters more than the safety and health of our countrymen and patrons. Our film Satyameva Jayate 2 will now release on a later date. Till then, let’s keep our masks on and do our best to keep our loved ones and ourselves out of harm’s way,” read a statement from the team.

Satyameva Jayate 2 is directed by Milap Milan Zaveri. The action-drama stars John Abraham in a double role. It was shot in Lucknow and Mumbai.

John’s most recent theatrical release, Mumbai Saga, is premiering digitally on Amazon Prime Video today.

Interestingly, Salman Khan-starrer Radhewhich Satymeva Jayate 2 was set to clash with, will be simultaneously released in theatres and OTT on May 13.
