Travelling theatre company Picture Time provides inflated beds to Covid hospital

Mobile theatre company Picture Time Digiplex has come forward to provide beds and oxygen to Apollo Hospitals in the current crisis.

Picture Time is known for its inflated canopy cinemas which play at remote corners of the country. Recently, Apollo Hospital, Delhi reached out to Picture Time for support in battling the pandemic. Using a combination of inflatable, expandable and foldable tents, Picture Time has set up and delivered 40 beds with oxygen facility to the hospital

Sushil Chaudhary, CEO, Founder Picture Time Digiplex said, “As they say, desperate times call for desperate measures. I had no choice but to come up with something out of the box. The need of the hour is to extend help to the Healthcare system of this country. With Covid 19 second strain spreading at an alarming rate, our medical resources are on the verge of a collapse.”

He continued, “As a mobile digital movie theatre company our aim is to provide entertainment but looking at the current state of affairs we had to come up with something that would help save people’s lives. We hope this brings some respite and be of help in these dark times.

Picture Time is looking to provide inflatable medical facilities, isolation tents and mobile field hospitals to other health institutes in need.
