The first single from Silambarasan TR's upcoming film, Maanaadu, is set to be released on May 14 on the occasion of Eid. 

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, Maanaadu is bankrolled by Suresh Kamatchi and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. 

Kalyani Priyadarshan is the female lead of Maanaadu, which also stars SJ Suryah, Bharathiraja, Manoj Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar, and Premgi Amaren in pivotal roles. 

Maanaadu marks Yuvan Shankar Raja's eighth collaboration with Venkat Prabhu, and his fourth film with Simbu. 

Meanwhile, Simbu will next be seen in Obeli N Krishna's Pathu Thala, alongside Gautham Karthik, and he also has Gautham Menon's Nadhigalile Neeradum Suriyan in the works.
