Dhanush, Mari Selvaraj to join hands again following Karnan's success

The pre-production work is currently on and the film is scheduled to go on floors next year

After the success of Karnan, Dhanush and Mari Selvaraj are set to reunite for a new project. 

Taking to social media, the National Award-winning actor said, "Elated to announce that after the blockbuster success of Karnan, Mari Selvaraj and myself are joining hands once again. Pre-production going on, shoot will commence next year."

It is expected that Mari Selvaraj will finish his Dhruv Vikram-starrer for Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions before commencing filming for the Dhanush project. 

Meanwhile, Dhanush has a long line-up of films, including projects with Karthick Naren, Selvaraghavan and Aanand L Rai. His film with Karthik Subbaraj, Jagame Thandhiram, which skipped the theatrical release, will stream on Netflix soon. The busy actor is currently in the US shooting for Netflix's big-budget entertainer, The Gray Man, which stars Hollywood actors like Chris Evans and Ryan Reynolds. 

Karnan, bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations, also features Rajisha Vijayan, Lal, Natty among others. With music by Santhosh Narayanan, Karnan, which had a theatrical release on April 9, is expected to start streaming on OTT soon.
