Vetri Maaran's next, starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi, titled Viduthalai

Vetri Maaran's upcoming film, starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, has been officially titled Viduthalai. The makers also unveiled the film's first look posters featuring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi today.

The posters introduce a hand-cuffed Vijay Sethupathi as 'The Mentor' and Soori as 'The Protagonist' in a police uniform. The shooting of Viduthalai is currently in progress and Satyamangalam is one of the filming locations.

Bankrolled by Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment, the film's music is composed by Ilaiyaraaja, marking Vetri Maaran's first collaboration with the veteran composer. The filmmaker's frequent collaborator Velraj is handling the cinematography of Viduthalai. The film has editing by R Ramar and action choreography by Peter Hein.
