When Salman Khan promises, he (over)delivers. With the entire nation reeling from a deadly COVID resurge, the actor has arrived with a jab of full-blown action entertainment.

A Wanted reboot of sorts, Radhe finds Salman Khan's titular undercover cop back in the game. This time, he’s up against a gang of drug leaders, led by an all-black Randeep Hooda. If you consider yourself a die-hard Salman fan, the line about bizarre three-inch penetrations and mangled organs should prove a test. If you don’t, try the scene where he’s riding in a car with Disha Patani. “Diya,” she tells him her name. Bhai’s response — “When I have a sister, I’ll name her Nadiya”

Radhe boasts all the 'Salmanisms' you can possibly crave: choppers and cars, sped-up fight scenes in bars, a dance number called Seeti Maar, and a line about splitting up biryani on Eid.

Directed by Prabhu Deva, Radhe also stars Jackie Shroff, Gautam Gulati, Govind Namdev, and Siddhartha Jadhav. The film is set for a simultaneous release on Zee Plex and theatres on May 13.
