It is speculated that music composer Anirudh Ravichander will be joining hands with filmmaker Aanand L Rai for one of the latter's upcoming films. However, an official confirmation on the same is awaited. 

Anirudh has previously composed Hindi songs such as Yu Hi Re for Bejoy Nambiar's David in 2013 and the independent single Bewajah in 2017. He has also worked on the Hindi versions of the soundtrack of Tamil films such as Petta, Darbar, and Master. However, if the upcoming project materialises, it will mark Anirudh's first full-length Hindi album.

Meanwhile, the shooting of Aanand L Rai's Atrangi Re, starring Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan, and Akshay Kumar, has been wrapped up. The film is scheduled for release on August 6.
