The Delhi High Court has issued a notice based on a plea by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father.

Sushant’s father has moved the apex court against upcoming films and projects based on his son’s life. The plea seeks a ban on movies depicting the late actor's personal life, name, images, caricature, lifestyle, likeness in form of a biopic or story, reports state.

The plea mentions films like Nyay: The Justice, Suicide or Murder: A star was lost and Shashank, which are supposedly based on Sushant. It also seeks an injunction against any other film, publication, caricature, etc based on the actor's life.

Sushant’s father reportedly feels that many people took his son’s death as an "opportunity to get fame by developing different theories/stories," at the expense of his and his family’s reputation.

The plea also claims that such films would influence the witness of the case and change public perception on the ongoing investigation.
