Actor Chiranjeevi, along with a host of big wigs from Telugu cinema, had started an initiative named Corona Crisis Charity Mana Kosam (CCC Mana Kosam) last year. The CCC offered financial support to the income-starved in the film industry during the lockdown. The latest update is that CCC has come forward to organise a Covid-19 vaccination drive free of cost for film workers and Telugu film journalists.

"CCC has joined hands with Apollo 247 to provide vaccination to all the film workers and film journalists above 45 years of age, for a month starting from Thursday. I urge every member of these fraternities to enroll in their respective associations and get jabbed," said Chiranjeevi in a video message on Twitter.
